*Far and Near*
two beautiful pictures of this dragonfly which most probably is Brachydiplax chalybea from
the family Libellulidae as you suggested also. However, there is a similar looking species,
Aethriamanta gracilis which I can't exclude for sure.
Best wishes, Peter

A fine double showing two shots of this male libellulid dragonfly in a typical hot-weather pose to minimse being warmed by the sun. Both images are sharp and taken in great lighting from excellent POV's.
Well done ganesh and thanks for sharing this,

I like the colours on this dragonfly you captured in Singapore, Ganesan.
I am quite satisfied with the bigger version because it gives us a better impression of this insect I have never seen in our country.
It is a well composed shot with wonderful details and colours.

Hi Ganesh. A double post nicely captured in sharp details. I like the water lily with tall frame on the left as well as the tight framing on the right. Well done and best regards. Jusni

A terrific collage with this superb species presented in these two ways.
I really like both photos - one that presents this dragonfly in its habitat and the other one up close - with good details about your subject.
The poses in which you caught the d-fly are also terrific - the obelisk on the left being so well visible. Wonderful details and gorgeous natural colors complete this lovely presentation of yours.
Bravo and TFS
