Wow, this is fantastic.
The position of the wings is great, it looks like Darth Vader's tie fighter!
If I took a photo this good I'd be extremely proud.
Composition, colours and exposure are all spot on.
A narrower crop would have enabled you to do a long post which would be nice for us to see the full size image!

Owls are my favourite birds and this is a great in-flight shot indeed! i like its red eyes, what a beauty! Superb moment superbly freezed. Details, sharpness all are amazing. pov, framing are wonderful also. With the great bg this capture is superb and have to jump to my favourites.

Andrew, Birds of prey and owls are my passion and I know how difficult it is to get a shot this good. DOF is fine for the lens that you have and the wing blur is great to show the movement and at 1/640 I'm surprised it's as sharp as it is in the wings.
If I had to say anything negative it that it looks just a tad over sharpened for me.

What I love is the excellent sharpness. The luminous colors of the green background contrasting with the brown tones of the owl. Very good composition with the owl in the right place.
