|These are old fossilized molluscs found in a rock on The Wilcox Pass high above the Columbia Ice-field in Jasper National Park. The Ice-field is located on the southern edge of the park, bordering Banff National Park. While most visitors tend to travel towards the glacier the much less travelled, and far more panoramic, Wilcox Pass offers not only amazing photo opportunities but a wonderful hiking experience as well. |
While we didn't see any on this day, it is said that this is one of the most reliable place in the park to see Big Horn Sheep close up.
